Natalie turns two!

Way back in September, Natalie turned two!  I absolutely love two-year-olds.  They aren't without their challenges, of course, but this is the year where their personality really begins to shine, and they start to talk and communicate.  Nat is a total chatterbox, a snuggler, an adventurous soul, a lover of cars, baby dolls and music, with strong opinions about what clothes she wears every day (her favorite pattern is polka dots and is happiest when shirt, pants and socks all have them).  She is independent; it never occurs to her that she can't do everything that her big brother can do.  I love her.

On her actual birthday she opened presents from us and brought birthday cookies to school.  The next day was Saturday, and both sets of grandparents, as well as Florence and Basil spent the day at our house celebrating.  One of Natalie's favorite books, especially during the summer, is "Dragons Love Tacos" so of course I had to make a big bunch of tacos for everyone to eat.

Nat's favorite color is purple--did you know that they actually make purple frosting?? Not natural, but the birthday girl loved it.
