Around lunchtime on Christmas day we headed over to Dan and Nancy's house to celebrate with them. Basil and Florence had arrived the day before, and Erin and Stuart drove over from Detroit after spending the morning with Erin's family. Due to his work schedule, Jordan was not able to make it to Kalamazoo for Christmas. He is planning to come home sometime this winter, but again, it was strange to have one of the key family members celebrating from afar. We had a lovely, relaxing afternoon and evening of present-opening, laughter, and of course delicious food.
