Steve and Joanna came to visit from California for almost a week! It had been a year and a half since we saw them last, so it was really awesome to be able to spend so much time with them. We spent most of our time together with Mom and Dad up in Grand Rapids. S and J did come down to Kalamazoo to hang out with us for a day. This gave Joanna some much-needed snuggle time with Ozzie (Gertie, S and J's kitty, stayed home for the holidays).
We visited Water Street Coffee Joint, my favorite local coffee shop, and Kalamazoo Valley Museum, which features a bus that Nathan loves to drive.
Joanna's parents sent N a completely adorable hat and mitten set. The mittens got in the way of Nathan's car parking project, so he only wore them for a moment, but he loved the hat and wore it for almost an hour while he played!
