Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we celebrate with the Emhofs every year, and it was especially great to have Joanna there for her first Christmas with our family. It was a great, relaxing day, filled with presents, laughter, more hiking and more delicious food!

Nathan and Joanna playing matchbox cars while breakfast cooked.

Morning Toddy

Morning Steve

Mmmm... Strata!

This is Nathan's "CHEESE!" face. It is now a common occurrence in photos of him.

"Look! Presents!!"

Deuce likes opening presents too.

I got Dad t-shirts from the schools where he earned his undergraduate (SUNY Oneonta) and graduate (University of Florida) degrees.

Nay was a very willing little present-delivering elf.

I think N was just as interested in Joanna's present as she was!

Playing with his new kitchen from Grandma Gail and Grandpa John!

An awesome fire engine from Uncle Steve and Aunt Joanna.

Mom working more of her magic in the kitchen.

Heading back out into the woods! This time we took the boys with us.

Sheepdogs love to play in the snow.

Steve and Joanna roasted a honey-orange glazed ham for dinner. It was both lovely and delicious!

Dad's famous cream puffs for dessert!

Testing the camera set-up for the family picture.

Now that is a good looking family!
