One of the things I love about Kalamazoo is that almost every weekend in the summer there is a festival of some kind downtown at the Arcadia Creek Festival Site. My most favorite of all the "fests" is Ribfest--an entire festival dedicated to BBQ! On Saturday I met some of my awesome co-workers there for lunch. It was a perfect sunny day--warm but not humid--and we scarfed down our food and beer and then hung out listening to a high school band play a very eclectic mix of music: Guns N Roses, Tom Petty, Coldplay, and more.
