Every summer Jenn and I make a point to have a "date" in Holland, usually around her birthday. This year we decided to have brunch at a delightful restaurant on the shores of Lake Macatawa, called Boatwerks. Unfortunately it was rainy when we arrived, so we sat inside, but there is a huge patio right on the water which would be delightful on a sunny day. Both the food and the company were great! And luckily the weather cleared up while we were eating, so we were able to explore the park next to the restaurant for a little while afterwards.
Nathan was too busy coloring to pose for the picture, but Jenn humored me. :)
