Glen Lake Fun

We spent the day after Fourth of July visiting Todd's Aunt and Uncle's place on Glen Lake.  His cousin Mike and his kiddos Alex and Avery were there as were his other Aunt and Uncle, so it was a fun little mini family reunion.  We had a potluck cookout for lunch and then headed out in the boats to a sandbar for some playtime in the water.

Avery, who is 3, REALLY loves babies.  Before our car came to a complete stop, she was asking to hold baby Natalie.  She followed Natalie around the whole day, and when Natalie was napping, she followed me around (apparently as the mommy, I'm the next best thing).  It was really cute!  Avery is a tiny little thing, and it was pretty funny to see how close in size she is to Natalie!

Mmmmm.... fruit!  Nathan could probably have eaten that entire bowl of fruit salad by himself.

Alex, who just turned 6, was pretty good about letting Nathan play with him.  Nay was a little intimidated by such a cool big kid, but thrilled when Alex paid attention to him.

Three brothers

After a few moments of nervousness, Nathan loved playing on the sandbar.

Natalie also took a minute to get her bearings, but loved the fact that shallow Glen Lake was so much warmer than the Bay.
