I wonder where the disconnect between fun with the play vacuum and hating doing actual vacuuming occurs?
I've never understood play vacuums that don't actually work - if they're going to be pushing it around, it might as well be cleaning up!! When Carter was 2 we ditched the play vacuum and got one of the push (non-motorized) sweepers - the kids used it just today to help me with the crumbs in the living room :)
