Todd's birthday celebration

Todd's birthday is on Wednesday this year, so we had the family celebration yesterday. Every year Grandma Florence and Grandpa Basil return from their winter in Florida in time for Todd's birthday. We're always excited to see them after they're long hiatus, but this year it was especially exciting, because they got to meet Nathan for the first time! I think that they had a blast meeting their great-grandson.

Annalee and Dan also joined us for the celebration. It was great to catch up with them as well, and it was fun to pass along my maternity clothes to Annalee! :)

Nancy cooked a delicious meal for everyone with all of Todd's favorites: salad, steak, asparagus and cheesy potatoes. And then the meal was capped off by a Boonzaaijer's birthday cake covered in strawberries.
