Sunny Weekend

This weekend was a fantastic gift from the weather gods--it was sunny and above 60 degrees in November! We all took full advantage of this rare occurance. After a busy Saturday morning of swim class, a flu shot and a long nap, Nathan and I played out in the backyard for awhile. Now that he is crawling, he's pretty leery of the way that the grass feels on his hands while he's in motion. So, very uncharacteristically for him these days, N actually hung out and played on the blanket that I put out for him! Todd made great progress on the soffit replacement project he's been wanting to work on for awhile now. The unseasonably warm weather was a definite bonus for getting a lot of work done on that project.

On Sunday Hillary stopped by and she and I went on a long walk with Nathan and Deuce. It was so nice to spend time together outside of work! Of course, the reason she was in Kzoo on a Sunday is because we both had to work that evening, but at least we had a little time together that wasn't on campus!

Playing with the toys that Austin and Addison Wade have outgrown and were generous enough to pass along to Nathan (thank you Linds and Mike!). Nathan absolutely loves these toys, especially the little kitchen.
