Pumpkin patch

I thought that Saturday's rainy weather was going to foil my plans to go to the pumpkin patch this weekend. Luckily, today decided to ignore its forecast and was beautiful. We headed over to Gull Meadow Farms for a morning of Midwestern fall fun. All three of us had a blast! Last year's trip was fun, but this year N was so excited about everything, especially the tractor ride and wandering around the pumpkin patch.

Checking out the tractor before our ride out to the fields

Looking for the perfect seat

Right up front so he could see the tractor!

Nathan had a blast running around the pumpkin patch.

We also wandered through an adjoining apple orchard, although all of the apples had been harvested already.

I love this photo.

Fall in Michigan=incredibly beautiful!

My boys!

Waiting for the tractor to come pick us up again.

Checking out the 900 lb pumpkin. "It's HUGE!"

Nathan found some pumpkins that were more his size.

No trip to an orchard would be complete without donuts and cider!

Hmmm... was apple cinnamon sugar the right choice?

YES!

Our mission was to pick out a pumpkin, but we had to make a side trip to check out the yellow wheels.
