Christmas with the Emhofs

Our Christmas celebration with Mom and Dad continued the next morning with a yummy breakfast and opening presents.  Both kids loved opening presents, and they were hilariously excited over their big present from Grandma and Grandpa--child-sized armchairs with their names on them!  They still love them, and sit in/climb on them every day.

Mom got Nathan a collection of all of Beverly Cleary's books.  I thought he would be too young for them, but he's really enjoying us reading him a chapter at a time of The Mouse and The Motorcycle.  So fun!

Somehow we crammed all of our stuff and ourselves into the Subaru as we departed for our next Christmas adventure in Rockford!
