The Sunday before Nathan's birthday, Nancy hosted a family celebration for him. Since I had coordinated Nay's friend party and was in the midst of a very busy time at work, I was extra grateful that she offered to host this gathering at her house! Nathan was so lucky to have both sets of grandparents and Uncle Stu and Aunt Erin get together to celebrate his birthday. I a always grateful that we live so close to family, but it is particularly easy to remember how lucky we are when it is so easy to gather so many family members to mark life's happy milestones.
Nancy and Dan worked together to make some of Nathan's favorite foods, pizza and macaroni and cheese. Yum!
