Last Saturday afternoon my dad came over for some time with the grandkids. Mom was in Rochester, so Dad was solo. We had lunch together and hung out around the house for awhile. We then decided to head over to the Kal-Haven trail for a long walk. One of the many things I love about having family close by is that we can have these days hanging out together where there's no agenda; we can just relax together. It's so nice!
Natalie studying Grandpa
Grandpa is funny!
Natalie's getting more and more accurate and determined with her grabbing skills.
Creating a matchbox car parking lot and lego train
Nathan and Grandpa checking out the llamas at a farm along the Kal-Haven trail.
Me and my sweet girl
This is a classic Nathan facial expression.
Nathan looks so big in this picture. It's also a great head to toe shot of the outfit he selected for the day's outing. :)
Cheese!
Natalie thought the ride was soothing. Look at those eyelashes! This is also a good shot of Todd's initial round of trimming Natalie's hair. Apparently she kept turning her head to try and watch what he was doing.
