Playground Fun

Saturday was a delightfully temperate day that actually (finally!) felt like spring! Todd was working on a car project, so Nathan and I had a mommy and son day. We spent the morning out in the yard (only a 2-year-old can turn looking for dog poop to pick up into a fun game) and walking down the street to throw rocks and sticks into the drain.

After lunch and naptime, we headed over to a nearby playground. Nathan had a blast, especially on the slide and running around like a maniac in all the open space. We ran into one of the little boys he goes to daycare with, and the two of them had a blast running nonstop while his mom and I chatted. Needless to say, there were some tears when it was time to leave for dinner, but other than that we both had an absolutely fantastic day.
