Saturday we took advantage of the gorgeous sunshine and went for a walk on the new part of the Kal-Haven trail. It felt really good to stretch our legs, and Deuce enjoyed some much-needed exercise. Nathan slept the entire time! Earlier that day Todd, Nathan and I enjoyed a bath in our big bathtub. Nathan loved it--Todd supported him and Nathan just floated in the water, kicking his legs a little bit and thoroughly enjoying himself.
Saturday evening Suzanne and Bryan had us over for dinner. We had a Swiss fondue-type meal called raclette. It's kind of hard to describe, but it involves cheese, veggies, sausage and bread--delicious, and one of those fun interactive meals that are great to have with friends. Ellie was having a slumber party at Nana's house, so Gavin and Nathan spent some time checking each other out. Gavin is such a cutie!! It is amazing to look at him and think about how big Nathan is going to be a year from now.
Today was a great day with the grandparents! My mom and dad came down in the afternoon. Luckily Nathan was awake and happy, and performed all of his tricks (smiles and coos) for them. They spent some time with Nathan while Todd and I ran a few errands. This evening Dan and Jordan brought pizza over and relaxed on the couch for awhile.
All in all it was a great weekend; I'm sad to see it end!
Cuddling with Daddy
First ride in just the stroller! Of course, he slept the entire time!
